Short Bio:

Dr. Bao Dong To received his B.S. degree in Physics from Hanoi National University of Education, Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2008, M.S. degree in Materials Sciences and Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 2010, and Ph.D. degree in Physics from National Chung Cheng University, Chia-Yi, Taiwan in 2018. During the PhD period, his research focused on the improvement of light extraction efficiency of OLED. He also studied on micro-nano fabrication, photonic crystals, harmonic generation, graphene and CNTs-graphene hybrid materials.
After he completed his doctorate, he was a R&D engineer at Brimo Technology, Inc., Taiwan from 2018 to 2019. In the company, he researched on fiber laser and fiber amplifier system.
Dr. Bao Dong To is currently working as postdoctoral research fellow in Department of Electrical Engineering, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. He is researching on tunable fiber laser and Terahertz radiation generation.
He has received several honors and awards including the OSA/SPIE student paper award at ICO-24 Japan Tokyo 2017, Taiwan MOST travel grants for presentation at international conferences (in US 2016 and Japan 2017), full Scholarship for PhD program (2013-1018), full Scholarship for master program (2008-2010)
