THz Nonlinear Optics

We develop quasi-phase-matched (QPM) parametric sources with the wavelengths covering UV to THz. Recently, we have generated a few-hundred-KW narrow-line coherent radiation with a wavelength reaching 4-6 THz. This high-power narrow-line THz source is potentially useful for THz nonlinear optics, particle acceleration, and power-hungry high-resolution THz imaging.
